: : : : Hi everyone. I have a question and I am hoping someone can help me. Last winter I began having terrible muscle aches, fatigue, etc. Doctor did all kinds of blood tests but no diagnosis. Had an appointment with a rheumatologist, but could not get in for three months which was the end of May. by the end of May I was feeling better, so stupid me, I did not go to my appointment. Now I am having similar symptoms but my main problems are in my legs, mostly my hips, thighs and knees. My left leg is killing me. This morning when I woke up I could hardly walk because my hips were hurting so bad. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else had these symptoms. I rescheduled my rheumatology appointment but can't get in until Dec. 22. Also, I was just diagnosed last week with dry eye syndrome. Is all of this related? Or am I going crazy?? Thanks for any advice you can give.
: : : You're not going crazy, and hopefully you don't get any other symtoms, there are a ton of them. Feel liker Linda Blair sometimes? I know we do. Take care and don't cancle that apt. By the way there are lists of doctors out there on the internet for fms. A posting just a couple of days ago really good stuff on fms and other things like cancer, migrains. Check it out. Read the board from the bottom up and you will find other sites and many other symtoms other people get. Write back and take care, Kim
: Hi. I have never been diagnosised with Fibromyalgia, but havelong thought that that is what I have. I hurt so bad when I get up in the mornings it takes me hours to get going. I don't sleep well either. I hurt somewhere all the ime but lately it has been my elbows and calves. I am VERY discouraged. I need relief without the doctors thinking I"m after drugs. I have two children to look after and a job to keep so I can support them. I would appreciate knowing what has helped for others in this , or with this, condition.
Hi Dona, Get to a doctor that specialises in FMS. If you haven't read the board from bottom up. Read it you will learn a lot and also find sites to find more information from many sources. My husband goes to a pain clinic, but you have to have a diagnosis for treatment; his does alternative medicine tecneques too. Take care and good luck, Kim Ps We have 5 boys. 23 yrs. to 23 mos.
