I went looking for the messages from MaryLynn, and saw that she has Hashimoto's, thyroid disease.
Her older posst have been removed, but I copied one that may pertain to your symptoms:
"Gloria, it sounds like you have low thyroid. Has anyone in your family had a goiter, thyroid disease, or any autoimmume diseases? This tends to run in families. Talk to your doctor. I have a message "GENERAL SYMPTOMS OF THYROID DISEASE" that you should read. I give symptoms of high thyroid, too, which someone else in your family may have. Print that message out to give to blood relatives after you see your doctor. Your doctor will give you a blood test, but as we've all learned here, that may not always diagnose this disease. Read that message. List all the symptoms you're having for your doctor. Many doctors aren't diagnosing by symptoms, but by the blood test alone. If your doctor finds your blood test normal, and you're having most of these symptoms, ask for a TRH test. If you're diagnosed with thyroid disease, be sure to get a list of symptoms of both low and high thyroid to give to blood relatives, as this may save someone's life! (I had a loved one nearly die from high thyroid.) I hope this helps you. God bless, Mary "
I hope this helps you find your own DX and solution.
