Hello! I've been reading some of your messages and am so interested in everything you've been through....it sounds similar to my experiences.

I've been 'ill' to varying degrees for about 10 years! I went through many doctors and many tests to no avail. Went through the entire Candida protocol which helped a little about 4 years ago (stayed on the diet a full year!!) but never got back to normal. I finally, thank the Lord, found a doctor who diagnosed hypothyroidism (and was amazed that my other past doctors didn't pick up on it). Well, needless to say I was thrilled to finally have the answer. The problem? I can't seem to get on the right med! I want to know which one you are taking that you are having such good luck with? Not that it would be the same for me, but couldn't hurt to take note of it. Please let me know!

First we tried Armor, which did help a little. Then I figured out that my body temperatures were still running low, and so I went on just T3 alone because of a suspected conversion problem. Some days while on it I've felt fantastic, but the protocol has been a little hard to follow, and it hasn't been consistent.

In the meantime, and this is the hardest to take, I've had an increase in pain in my lower back and siatic nerve areas, that has kept me from even going on walks or keeping up with my house work! (That is what brought me to the Fibromyalgia board). At this point, I am just looking for answers and some pain relief. I don't know what to do anymore.

I only live a few hours from Sacramento. Does the doctor you mention also treat chronic pain? Or does she mainly feel everything you went through was the result of low thyroid?

Thanks so much for being on here ane for listening, and hope to see you here soon.

Warm regards,
Kathleen
