In Reply to: Low-grade fever and stomach pain? posted by Paula on December 03, 2000 at 01:06:48:

: Hi. I just recived a diagnois of FM and all of the symptoms seem to match with the exeption of three. I am experiencing a consistent low-grade fever, pain in the organs below the rib cage (stomach, intestine, liver, etc?)which can be very intense and sore, and even ringing in the ears. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

Dear friend:Since Fibro is a syndrome(generalized grouping of symptoms), you can have the ailment without having every single symptom. I have the general achiness, painful joints, fatigue, IBS, etc. I don't have some of the accompanying ailments that others sometimes have(rheumatoid arthritis,eg.). Also I have the tender pts. Best wishes, Al
