: This is new to me...I live in Phoenix, where the summers are legendary for heat and low humidity. When it becomes cooler to us it feels cold, and for the first time I have had a flare-up of fibro pain, where I am achy, can't seem to get warm, and my joints and muscles hurt more than usual. Any of you folks experience similar surprises. Al

I live in Scottdale, AZ so I know what you're talking about Al. If you're reading this today, chances are you're not feeling too great with this cold & cloudy weather. I've tried Sam-e, Wobenzym N, Voltaren-XR, Vioxx and none work for me. A hot bath or a steam bath can provide relief for an hour or so. My fibro is tolerable when the temperature is 95+ degrees with very low humidity.May,June,July,Oct are some of the better months. The "monsoon" summer season can be hard on me even though it's warm the humidity can trigger plenty of aches and pains. I always search the boards looking for something which my work for me. Take care.
