I am looking for someone to communicate with that has the same problem as I. I have been diagnosed with FMS just recently. I have so many problems including hardly being able to walk. I have tried several different medications prescribed by my neurologist and rheumatologist and still no better. Since the cold weather, it seems that my symptoms and pain have sky rocketed. I have even tried chiropractic treatments and herbs with no improvement. I was told by the docs that the only treatment is with pain pills which I can not take due to extreme allergic reactions. The only thing I can take is a mild muscle relaxer to stop the jerking in my legs and arms but it wears off and I am right back where I started. I am taking a sedative to help sleep but I still have problems sleeping. I have gotten a little more sleep since the new sedative was prescribed, but it is still not good sleep that I need to refresh me. I have a lot of questions and am desperately looking for someone to offer suggestions or just to talk to about all this. I am unable to locate a support group in my area.
