: Dear friend: I've also been thru the disability journey and learned one thing:HIRE A DISABILITY ATTY. They get nothing unless you win(about one quarter of the initial settlement). These guys spend every day just doing one thing: working the SS Dis. system and they know the ropes. I was turned down for my Fibro, hired and atty and won. Have a clear understanding from the start of mutual expectations, call your atty from time to time to let them know you intend to be actively involved. Best wishes, Al
