I fractured the calcaneous in my left foot 11 years ago. It never healed bone to bone and i have had periodic problems for the last 11 years. This past year i suffered a stress fracture which the ortho blamed on the old fracture. I am scheduled for sugery in September to hopefully correct all of these - it has been getting progressively worse and more and more painful - have been wearing a boot since december. Hope you don't encounter the problems i have.
