I have a heel spur on my left foot. I was reading the message boards and was wondering why the risks are high enough that people want to avoid the surgery. Also, I'm sure my spur is weight related as I am very very Obese. Would that make it more high risk? I have my first appt. on Thursday and I'm becoming more afraid and still in pain everday. Could someone reply. Thanks... Cecilia
