: I am still very dsore and cannot walk barefooted after ten months of neuroma surgery. I am at a loss at what to do and my foot doctor who performed th operation just keeps giving me no solutions. i feel i was really butchered by him. If there is anyone out there who can give me a clue of what to do I would deeply appreciate it.
: Thanks
I too, had a neuroma, and the one thing my podiatrist told me was to never go barefooted. Also, to stay off of it as much as possible for 6 weeks after surgery, and if I didn't, I would have pain for 6 months. Because of my job, I had to go to Chicago and do alot of walking. As you would guess, I had pain for about 6 months afterwards. Have you gone back to your doctor? He isn't the only doctor, you know. You may be able to find another one who can give you some relief. Good luck.
