It is a fact that diabetics and foot problems are related. I have mostly read about diabetics
having problems with circulation in the feet. Being diabetic can cause problems with the healing
process i.e. scars, scratches, burns, etc. as well. I just had foot surgery and my podiatrist
has a ton of information on diabetes and it's relation to foot problems. I would see a podiatrist just to be
safe. I'm not an expert, but my husband is diabetic so I am always learning about diabetes
and what it affects. Your problem may not have anything to do with diabetes, but check it out
anyway.
