: Has anyone had the midfoot fusion for the arthritis caused by a lisfranc fracture? What have the results been and how long after the fracture did you have it? I am considering it and would like to hear results first. It has only been 2 years since my fracture. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
I HAD A MIDFOOT FUSION WITH BONE GRAFT IN JULY OF 2000. THE ORIGINAL INJURY WAS ON OCTOBER 29TH OF 1999. I NOW HAVE 9 SCREWS IN MY RIGHT FOOT,AND IT IS STILL QUITE PAINFUL AND SWOLLEN. THE PROGNOSIS LOOKS GOOD,ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT WILL TAKE UP TO A YEAR OR MORE FOR THE SWELLING TO SUBSIDE AND ASSOCIATED NERVES TO WAKE UP. GOOD LUCK TO YOU! CURT
