Hi everyone--
I have to confess... I love high heels! I like the way the look, and I like the way they make me look.
But I also love my feet and I've heard over and over how bad heels can be...
At work, I stick with loafers, stacked heels, mid-range two to three inches--but for going out I prefer the stiletto variety. I admit that every now and then they kill my feet, if I have to do a lot of standing or walking.
I want to strike a balance between pretty shoes and pretty feet... does anyone have any advice or suggestions? How high is too high? How often is too often? Are there warning signs to watch out for--before irreversible damage is done?
Also, some of the women in my family have bunions... I've heard two different sides, that they're hereditary and that they're caused by high heels. Which is true?
Thanks,
Mel
