I know that it can be difficult to have a difference, but in reality we all have differences. At 15, we struggle to identify with our peers...but identifying thru looks is so superficial and impossible...who looks just like anyone else?
I have deep scars from an accident and am over-weight. Sometimes I feel just fine about myself and go out in shorts when it is hot, and other times am self-conscious and cover it up with a dress or slacks.
How you feel isn't stupid, it is just human, and very normal to have those thoughts and concerns.
You might have a second opinion, maybe now if mom agrees or later when you are on your own, and see if surgery is feasable. Sometimes it is not worth the risk of infection, or complications that might make matters much worse. Look on the cosmetic surgery board to see what I mean.
Whatever you do, be safe.
