The area behind my ankle bone appears to be concave and is constantly aching. Behind it is a huge bump on my heel due to tendinitis. The doctor says the achilles tendon is probably not torn as I can still stand on my tiptoes. He said it might take up to six weeks but the pain is constant. Should I have an MRI done? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
