A friend of mine started having pain in one foot in August that he
thought was caused by his sciatica. It has gotten progressively worse
and several different doctors have been baffled by it. They thought it
was gout, then turf toe, now they admit they don't know. He's been
prescribed increasingly strong pain & anti-inflammatory medicines
including neurontin, with little effect. He's been using crutches to get
around but hasn't been able to work in 2 months. We don't know if the
pain which has now spread to both legs, back, shoulders and arms is
because of 'walking wrong' or if the ailment is spreading. I can get
more details from him to post here if need be. Are there any websites or
newsgroups that deal with this? Thank you!
