: : I WAS BORN WITH AN OVERLAPPING FIFTH TOE ON MY LEFT FOOT. MY LITTLE TOE LAYS COMPLETELY OVER ON TOP OF THE FOURTH TOE. YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE MY LITTLE TOE FROM THE BOTTOM SIDE OF MY FOOT.CURIOUS IF ANYONE ELSE WAS BORN WITH THIS SAME CONDITION?

: I've got overlapping little toes on both feet but wasn't born with them that way. Around age 13 or so my right little toe started to "ride up" if I moved my foot a certain way. My left little toe followed suit until I could make both completly overlap my fourth toes. While I can still do this, the toes will now ride up if I simply shift my weight while standing, or even while I'm walking. I'm 28 now and my little toes have gotten to where neither touches the ground anymore (my Tevas show 4 toed foot prints!) and my right little toe is noticibly overlapping the adjacent fourth toe.
: Both toes are gradually working their way over onto my fourth toes. I do not know of anyone in my family with overlapping fifth toes and do not know of anyone else with little toes like mine. Does anyone know what causes this?

Yes I was born with overlapping fifth toes. My grandmother also had this condition. In my case my little toes are very flat and go over the top of my fourth toes and tuch my third toes on both feet. When I was a kid I used to get teased but as I grew older the teasing stopped and every now and then somone asks if my toes bother me. My little toes have never caused me any discomfort so I did'nt have them amputated as on doctor had sugested I do.
