I am in the army and need to wear boots. At first i thought it was the tightness of the toe box that caused my feet to feel pain. Then i took out the laces of the boots and tried walking in it but i still felt pain in the area where my podiatrist told me i had a neuroma in. So i borrowed a one size larger boots and again took out the laces, after walking for a while the same pain recurs. The reason i took out the laces was to expand my toe box however it doesnt seem to be the tightness of the toebox that's causing me the problem as once the laces are untied tight i think tightness of the boots could be ruled out. Could it be the pounding effect of my boots? I was wearing it with my usual orthotics from my podiatrist. The strange thing is if i wear soft sole shoes like running shoes with a wide toe box, there isnt seem to be of any problem, except for little pains when i walk too much but why is it when i wear boots i felt unbearable pain. is it because of its hardness or other reasons? Could you pls help me answer my queries. Is there any way i could
wear boots without pain
