My husband has had pain & numbness in both feet & legs for 2 years now. The pain is excruciating and is mostly in the feet,but the feet & legs are numb almost to the knees. The feet are very hot also,but cold & painful in bed at night. He has seen Neurologist & is taking Neurontin for a year, to no avail. He has involuntary twitches & kicks in bed at night. The numbness began around the ankles and has slowly risen to near the knees in last 1&1/2 years. Doctors say that circulation & nerves are OK. They can't figure it out. Has anyone heard of or experienced this problem? Does anyone know of a doctor who may know something about this? Please help, we are desperate!!!!!
