: My elderly father has really hot feet after lying down 3 or more hours. Any ideas? Thanks

Burning or hot feet is a sign of B-12 deficiency. You should have him get a blood test to see what his level is. Elderly people are also more prone to vitamin B-12 deficiency. If left untreated, assuming it is from the B-12 deficiency, it can cause unreversable neuropathy in his feet.
