: My husband's arches are collasped and he has flat feet. He only feels comfortable in sneakers and cannot walk long distances (more than one or two miles) without discomfort. Being that we live in NYC and it is a walking city, what are his options?

: Thanks in advance,
: Rachel

Visiting your local podiatrist is the first step
Orthotics may be the option

Otherwise an exercise program of stretching and strenthening muscles and some balance work will be necessary.
