In Reply to: How do you treat plantar wart? posted by Thiago on October 15, 1999 at 11:32:16:

: Hi
: I 'd appreciate if someone could give me more info on
: the treatment of plantar wart.

: My foot hurts and the wart is there for more than 3 months. Unfortunately, in the past 3 weeks it has been driving me crazy during training.

: Thanks for any follow up.
I've had one for a couple of years. They are so deep that only a podiatrist has much of a chance of getting rid of them, but for less than $10 I bought some Tinamed patches (salicylic acid). After using 4 patches in 8 days the surface 'lump' peeled off in the tub giving me great relief for the last several months. Pretty much the same chemical that is used for corns and calluses, I think. Good luck!
