I had the surgery in 1996.....also had a great toe joint implant at the same time------the bunion removal --- no problem---the area feels great now---the joint implant..I seemed to have traded in 1 pain & received 3 in return--the joint always feels still - tradeoff I guess....
Good luck.....Rob.....the operation in general was really nothing----- ya wear that strap on velcro shoe/boot thing whatever it's called so your foot doesn't bend-----till the time ya can wear shoes again
: Has anyone had an operation to remove bunions? I want to know if it is painful and if the outcome is good. I'm 25 and I have always had them but only lately they've been really hurting. I like playing sports and dancing and I don't to be limited because of my bunions.
