: I have pain in both feet. It is mostly my toes. They burn and at times feel like they have pins poking them. This wakes me at night at times. I do not have artheritis, this has been ruled out by the Dr. I am wearing the SAS shoes with inserts but they still hurt. Please if anyone has any advice I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for reading.

Hi, I suffered with pain in my feet for two years. Finally I had plantar faciatis surgery on my left foot and it got a little better. It wasn't until I was referred to a pain clinic and had a MRI did I find out that my spine was the cause of my feet pain. Two bulging discs in my back are affecting my feet. I did'nt believe it at first, until after receiving an anti-inflammatory injection into my spine. My pain went COMPLETELY away for 1 1/2 weeks. It was a miracle. Unfortunately, the shot wore off. I have had two subsequently, but without success. Hope this helps with possibilities. I, too, wear SAS shoes and have had three different inserts for my shoes made. Last year I had surgery on my left foot for plantar fascitis which helped some, but not completely at all.
