My advice is to get and get it looked at. I had one for years. It started on just one side of my big toe
the nail got so bad it went to the other side. I FINALLY went to the Doctor and he took it out right
there on the spot. It was pretty painless during the procedure and felt a million times better afterward.
My nail still looks a little funny....but its getting there and certainly does feel better...... just do it!
by the way.. my insurance did cover it. I think without it, it would have cost me about $200.00
