I am a 16-year old female, and was informed that my heel bones are larger than they should be. This has caused problems and a lot of pain in both of my feet. I've been to a few doctors, both of them gave me anti-inflammatory medication. One of them put me in a cast, and gave me heel lifts to take the tension off the achilles tendon. Nothing has helped. They still cause a lot of pain. Would surgery remidy this? I would appreciate any suggestions.
