: I have had a foot problem for about 10 years now and not even a doctor can figure it out. Orgianally I was told it was althletes foot and treated it accordingly but the same symptoms always came back. Now I have had these tiny red oil\water filled blisters that eventually erupt and cause severe dryness. I mean my foot craks so deep it bleeds at times. It's only on my right foot(always has been) and I have such a thick pad of dry skin on my heel and several dry open spots on my foot it's always sore. I have seen a podiatrist and he says it's not a fungus it's a dermatitas problem and prescribed some cream that has done nothing but make it worse. It has been with me now for two years straight without clearing up once. not open air, sandals, lotion, soaking or any other conventional recommendation has shown healing. I'm really sick of wasting money on these doctors with no cure, please someone suggest something or tell me you have experinenced these foot symptoms....Thank you greatly.

Dear Michele,
I notice that you posted your message September last. Maybe your symptoms have cleared up? My sister is having the same problem at the moment, although not for a long as you. Her problem is beginning to clear up now, after about five weeks.
She was getting very frustrated and a bit depressed about it. However, she's has tried everything, creams, bathing, steroids etc, the steroids worked for a short time but was not a long term solution. I have been getting on to her about leaving her feet exposed to the air long term and keep away from water, as water is an irritant to these symptoms. Thank God her feet seem to be clearing up now. Hopefully this might be a small comfort to you. Try and keep your feet as dry as possible and out of water if possible.
