Cat,

I totally understand how you feel. A combination of proper orthodic and medication may work if you havenot tried it yet and the seviarity of your injury.

I fell from a height of about 25 feet which resulted in the fractures in my left foot. I sutained fractures of 2,3 and 4th Metatarsal fractures along with dislocation of Lisfranc area. Went through couple of corrective surgeries to fix fractures. Now I am looking at fusion of bones around the lisfranc area due to the pain I feel during normal day to day work. Even walking and prolonged standing(excess of 20 minutes) results in pain. Currently on Celebrex and have tried Vioxx.

Currently I am debating a lot on my surgery option. BTW I sustained this injury in Oct 1998

I would appreciate if you have any feedack for me on the type of injury, your doctor's comments and what was done to your foot so far.

My e-mail address is raj_geethu@hotmail.com

Good luck

Raj

: I sustained a lisfranc fracture in early December. It is still very painful. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain for such an extended period of time? I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. Anyone out there with some encouragement on recovery from this? Any thoughts are appreciated!
