Was smacked pretty hard on the side of my left foot (on the bone that sticks out about midway down the foot) by my surfboard in December, 1999. I iced it, etc., and rarely had any problems. As of late, I've been playing a lot of racquetball and running. I have fairly severe pain at that spot, especially in the mornings when I wake up - have to limp. It seems to abate as the day goes on, unless I'm very active. Any ideas for what this could be? Nerve or bone related? Thanks!
