Sounds like the plantar's wart I have been tolerating for several years. When it gets very noticeable, I use part of a bottle (a couple of drops per day for a week or so) of the Dr. Scholls concoction specially made for plantar's warts (I think it's the same acid that is used on corns anyway). The large bump on the bottom of the foot breaks away, but the 'root' remains to sprout again six months or a year later. Good Luck!
