I've had an ulcer on the bottom of my foot for almost 3 years and is contiously draining when pressure is applied. There is no infection that I can tell. I almost had it healed over, but then my toe swelled up and had a fungus on it, I have cleared the fungus, but now there is a knot at the base of my toe, there is also a knot by the ulcer on the bottom of my foot. I live out in the Arizona desert along the Colorado River and have been to some doctors, and none of them have been able to help me. I am also Type II Diabetic. Does anyone know of a specialist or a clinic who could treat this. I am covered by Medicare. I would appreciate any information you could give me. Thank You, D.B.
