Hi,
I am 24 and have heel spurs too. My right foot hurts worse than the left, but they both hurt. I waitress...so I think that is how I got them. I feel the pain mostly in the morning. It is hard to get out of bed, when I step down onto the floor and start to walk...I want to cry. My orthopedic (whom I was seeing for a car accident) is the one that told me I had heel spurs. This was about a year ago. He told me some exercises I could do or that I could have surgery. He told me that the surgery is risky. Well, that was enough to make me realize that I didnt want it, and I would do the exercises and LIVE with the pain...which I do...every day. I know the line of work I am in doesnt help either, and school is taking forever. lol. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe can share an expierence of surgery with me? Cortizone...I heard that hurts a lot. What is the reason for them...do they make the heel spurs go away?
Thanks for taking the time to read my letter
