I have been suffering with heel spurs and inflamed fascia for 2 years now. I have had very painful shots that only helped for a short time (about 1 week). My doctor is suggesting corrective surgery or orthotics.I have tried exercise and ice treatments. I am in my early 50's, my brother and a sister also are suffering with the same thing, and it's in their left foot; mine is in both feet but the left one is worse but it was my right foot 1 year ago that was more painful. I over-compensated and I believe this is why my left foot is painful now. Like Lori, I too, would like to hear success story before I have surgery. My brother is scheduled for surgery 7/24.
