you can try to push a little bit of cotton wool under the nail where it is growing in to stop it growing into raw flesh! this does help because my mom is a nurse and min stopped ingrowing! GOOD LUCK

: For few years have had problem with nail on big toe; only way to clip is to "rip out corners", pain begins when jagged-edges grow and pierce surrounding skin... it is now at the point that entire nail covering top of toe is severly-rounded (no longer flat/slightly curved). I am reluctant to go to foot-doc due they will charge arm & leg ... I tried clipping a "V-shape" in center-tip of nail, but so far nail contiues to grow abnomally... and hurts like hell! anybody have a suggestion that might work????? thanks!
