There are lots of things to look at. One is chemistry - sodium, potassium, glucose levels, others that indicate how well your kidneys and liver are working, lipids (fats) like cholesterol and others that indicate your risk for heart disease. Another test looks at your blood cells, red and white: how many and what kinds and in what ratios to each other. Some blood tests evaluate how well your blood clots.

There are lots of things to look for, but these would be the most common.

: I went for a class 2 medical a while back. Part of it was to give a blood sample. My question is : What do they actually look for in the blood?
