Try going to a massage therapist. Try and get a doctors referal or call around to phsysiotherapy clinics to find one that has massage therapists on staff. They can work to get rid of some of the scar tissue as well as with the muscles. They can also help to show you exercises and things so you can help yourself also. It can be quite expensive though (here, canada, it can run from 50-70/hr) insurance may cover it. Just make sure your going to a registered massage therapist, not a massuse (they are 2 very diff things).
You may have trouble convincing your doctors that a massage therapist could be benificial (a lot of doctors still don't believe in it, mainly because they don't know a lot about it), but trust me they are, they can do way more than just relax you.
