About four days ago my I boke out in a rash. It consists of small, raised red bumps forming in patches
of about one inch square each. They itch, but not too badly, and the skin is red around the patches.
The only thing I can think think of that could have caused this is that I started using Ivory liquid
soap in the shower at about the same time the rash started. I use the same soap on my hands
every day, but I never get a reaction there. I suppose the skin on my back is simply more sensitive than
that on my hands.
Has anyone else had a reaction like this? I stopped using the soap in the shower when I made the connection,
but how long will it take for the rash to subside? Is there anything I can do to hasten the healing process?
I have no other symptoms other than the rash itself.
