Nancy; I've had a similar problem. The bumps are not very pronounced, and they seem to come and go every few days, but like you I've been suffering for a long time (nearly 2 months).
I haven't contacted a Dr yet but have started to become concerned. It feels like I've burned my tonge, but affects not just the tip, also the sides and when it's bad it makes it difficult to talk.
I've tried regular mouth washes, but this doesn't help.
Can somebody tell us what it might be?!?
