I can not help but be touched by your poem, as it is so true. I was so relieved when my husband came home safely after Desert Storm, little did I know that the muscle twitches in his arms would 8 years later take over our lives, and turn into tremors, and lung disease, he slid downhill so fast, that I can't not help but wonder how much longer does will he have. It seems so unreal that something that happened to him then is effecting our everyday lives.. That the twitches that the Air Force doctors said were nothing, have become so much.. Thank you for your poem.
