I would like to hear from anyone who is a gulf war veteran who did NOT serve in the "combat zone" during the gulf war, but who still suffers from Fatigue, headaches, chest pain, memory problems, bowel problems, insomnia, muscle and joint pains etc. I served in Turkey and the pentagon during the gulf war and had the shots etc. and have had the above problems to a dibillitating extent since then. My husband has been ill for 3 years. also and my 3 children have some health concerns. They say I cannot possibly have gulf war syndrome and have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and Sjogrens syndrome and do get 40% disability for these as it is acknowledged that these problems started in the military. I feel like hell and I just wonder, are there any more like me out there? Please reply. I get no answers from anyone and have decided to conduct my own research. Thank you, Mikki
