: Hi, I have a very dear friend who is suffering with this "disease". I am having hard time dealin wih it, and i know there must be other people with the same dilemas. I'd to find some of you who are in need of support and chat about our loved ones who are suffering. We all have unique situations and need someone else who understands the strain of this syndrome to talk to... if any of you would like to talk please email me.. id love to start corresponding. Lori
My husband is also a GWV and has been sick since 12/96. We have been in and out of 8 different hospitals and so far NOTHING. It is so depressing to sit and watch him be sick and nobody will help him. Its just hard to believe that these men went to war for this country and now they turn their backs on them. It makes me so angry sometimes I have to get off somewhere by myself and get a grip. IT IS JUST NOT FAIR! Everywhere you go it is a dead end. If I was a doctor, I could not lay my head down at night until I found out what was wrong with a man that is having some sort of seizure and sometimes leaves him paralyzed. Doctors just aren't what they used to be!
