I HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE CAN HELP ME. I HAVE BEEN MARRIED TO A SOLDIER IN THE ARMY FOR THREE YEARS. HE WAS IN DESERT SHEILD AND DESERT STORM AND SPENT ALOT OF TIME THERE. THING IS, HE KNOWS VIRTUALLY NOTHING ABOUT GWS. I KNEW OF IT BEFORE I MET HIM BUT NOT MUCH. WE HAVE ONE DAUGHTER THAT IS MINE FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE. SHE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM ABOUT A YEAR AGO. SHE HAD PROBLEMS BEFORE WE MET BUT IM CONCERNED THAT IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT GWS IS CONTAGIOUS. COULD BEING AROUND MY HUSBAND HAVE WORSENED HER CONDITION. ALSO, MY HUSBAND FITS THE PROFILE FOR ALOT OF THE SYMPTOMS BUT CONTINUES TO SAY THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE IT AND WONT SEE A DOCTOR. WE ARE ALL CHRONICALLY FATIGUED AND ITS A REAL PAIN. THE OTHER THING IS THAT MY HUSBAND WANTS TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY. I AM SCARED TO DEATH OF IT BECAUSE GOD ONLY KNOWWS WHAT COULD HAPPEN. IT TOOK HIM A LONG TIME TO TELL ME EVEN BITS ANF PEICES OF THE THINGS HES SEEN BUT ONLY ONE REALLY STICKS-THEY GAVE HIM A HANDFUL OF PILLS, NEVER TOLD HIM WHAT HE WAS TAKING BUT SAID HE HAD TO TAKE THEM. I FEAR FOR THE HEALTH A SAFETY OF ALL THESE MEN AND THEIR FAMILIES. IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEAS OR ANSWERS OR SIMILAR EXPERIENCES PLEASE E-MAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU
