Thank You so much for answering! I've never used a msg board before so I'm proud that I even found my way back to check for responses I may have rec'd!
Yes.....Please email me and let me know ALL infor mation that may help. I'm forever grateful for the time and concern in caring enough to help a stranger! Oh , by the way; YES, when this first began I was very afraid (at times) of my brother. You 're very sharp to pick up on that?! I hope things will be different when he's here this time....At least now I know what's wrong. I just thought he was crazy or ???before...I even locked me and my son in my bedroom before and got on the phone to someone so they'd hear it if he tried to break down the door. I'm so sorry now that I didn't understand. And that he didn't either. (What was wrong with him). I'm very nervousr even now but I'm going to be there for him and make sure there's H--- to pay somewhere/someone for what they've done to him. I TRIED TO CLICK ON YOUR NAME TO EMAIL YOU AND IT WOULDN'T LET ME...SAID INVALID (OR SOMETHING), MAYBE "ERROR"? MOST LIKELY, I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG! IM AT WDavis3114@aol.com if you'd like to contact me about this or anything I can maybe help YOU with...I've found some great sites and photocopied some VERY intersting stuff the last couple days. Please write!
Your new friend,
: Hi Wendy,
: I don't know where you're located but if you would like to e-mail me I can give you a number in Virginia. It will at least give you a starting point. I'll also give you a man's name to ask for and be sure you tell him your situation, everything. It's sad what all of us are going through because of that War. Sounds like he has the major symptoms as my husband. We've been fighting his claim for almost 3 yrs. now but I won't let him give up. My husband also fought in Vietnam and that too came back on him. I don't know how much help I can be but at least I'm answering. You may have to find another VA Hosp. I don't know but it sounds like you're a little scared of him. Contact me if you want the name and number because I don't think I am suppose to give it out here. My Best To You. Freda!
: : If anyone can help me, please respond asap!? I have a 30 yr old brother, served in Gulf War, given daily-repeated doses of a "preventative" (???) oral drug to "protect" him from bacterial warfare...As of 7/20/00 he'll be living with me. Where do I start in acquiring medical, financial, counceling support for him?? I'm afraid to trust the same government who did this to him!! Below are SOME, not all of his more blatantly obvious symptoms:
: : 1. Short-Term memory loss
: : 2. Premature hair loss
: : 3. Paranoia
: : 4. Excessive nervousness
: : 5. Inability to sleep very much at all...PREFERS TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR???!
: : 6. Itching
: : 7. Muscle spasms, "jerky" twitching?
: : 8. *RECENTLY A LUMP HAS FORMED IN HIS THROAT?
: : 9. Strange, scary, inane comments/actions, i.e., "Is there really a place called The White Cliffs of Dover"? Or, sitting & reading FOR HOURS the dictionary or the Bible.
: : 10. Cannot function except in a controlled environment such as jail or homeless shelter. Incapable of holding down a job.
: : My poor brother has lost his home, wife, son, car, personal belongings. He will tell you he knows something is wrong with him but he doesn't know what to do about it. Please let me know what I can do to help him. I need to do something immediately once he's here with me. Where do I start? What do we do first, etc? I'm a single, divorced mother and I must work but is there any emergency-type compensation he can receive to help get us through whatever we face? Can you trust the V.A. Hospitals? They're the very ones who tried to deny and cover-up what they did?! Please help me help my brother. Thank You one and all...
