The DOD looses records because that's what the system wants them to do. Write your representatives a MUSCULAR letter demanding you be treated fairly, of course mentioning about what a great job he/she is doing.
And you can also say you've discussed this with your priest/Pastor/Rabbi

: Has anyone had trouble with the Department of Defense losing or missplacing their military and or medical records? I was an NBC specialist trained at Ft. McClellan, Al. and recieved numerous vaccinations before, during, and after the war. I have had symptoms of GWI for some time, but am only now going to the VA for help. Any correspondence about what I should expect would be appreciated. I would also like to know if anyone has any information about family members or spouses contracting the illness. I was married for six years after the war and would like to advise my ex on the situation. And yes, GWI was a large factor in our divorce. Thanks.
