: : I am a victim of GWS. I have lost everything...my health, my husband, my family and friends, my job, my health insurance and slowly but surely my sanity. I have gone thru 19 surgeries and 4 bouts of cancer. I have mycoplasma fermentans incognitus. I have many chemicals in my bloodstream. I have lupus, MS and thyroid problems to name just a few of my problems. I would love to hear from fellow sufferers and/or anyone wanting to give support and lend an "ear" for me to speak to.
: Hi,
: I feel for you, went through all the test's for lupas, passed but still had symtons. I would like to hear from other VETS experiance's, before I go to a VA hospital.

I understand, I was diagnosed with MS in 99, but the USAF neurologist thought it showed around 93. I spent alot of time attempting to get the military to treat it, but met with total failure. I am currently waiting for treatment from the VA. It will be 14 months total wait. AS far as the VA if you haven't been and filed a claim do it now. It may not be what your looking for in treatment, but it may be the only thing left when you have no insurance.
I spend most of my day searching for persons who served and have came down with MS after serving in the gulf. I attempt to make contact with each one in order to let them know they are not alone. It seems that most suffer from other medical problems beside the MS, just as in your case. Contact me if you have any specifics that you would like to ask.
