I'm so sorry to hear about everything that's going on and I especially know how hard it is on you. My husband was in the Gulf too and he also came home sick. It's like living with a timebomb but please keep in mind that he can't help it and it's not his fault. He needs you so much right now. I know allot of families that have broken up over this illness. Here is a number for you to call and tell them all about what's going on with him and you. It's 800-497-6261. As in the post before yours, I told the man that I usually talk to Jim Reeves at that number but I believe he is out of town right now but it sounds like you need to talk to someone now. You can even call up to 10pm. Eastern time. First ask for Jim, then if he's not there, talk to who ever you can. Make sure your husband is also on the National Registry. They should be able to help you with that too. All that takes is a phone call. Just don't give up and if I can be of any more help, I have other numbers like the White House and Army Laison in DC. etc. You've got to make someone listen to you. If you need someone to just talk to please feel free to contact me at Tndeer1@aol.com anytime. Sometimes that even helps, OK? God Bless! Freda
: I am the wife of a Gulf War veteran who has been have severe problems with depression, anger, memory loss,& several suicide attempts since he came back to the states.
: Before he went into this war he NEVER had ANY of these problems. He was the positve one, the one who never gave up.....
: Three days ago, my husband snapped & jumped out of a moving car going 45mph. This was his 3rd attempt. Both his feet are broken,he's already had 2 surguries.
: We really need some names of counselors in Wisconsin who can help work through this. I've called the VA on many occasions BEGGING them for help. I really do not know where else to turn.
: Thank you.
