A good friend of mine has ask me to look up as much as I can on children whos fathers were in Desert Storm. She is very busy taking their 3 year old daughter from hospital to hospital, specialists, anywhere she can think of where she might get answers. Her daughter has ongoing problems with her right hip, it hasn't formed as it should. At times her daughter is in too much pain to walk. They call this Biratinal Loxa Vara (not sure on the spelling) It took the drs almost 2 years to give it a name. Now she has had a 104 degree temperature for over a week, and the drs don't know why. Chances are she'll be fine next week and will just put mom off again. But each time this child gets sick, the symptons are worse.
Would anyone, ANYONE be able to point me in the right direction for some help for my friends daughter, or help my friend to understand whats going on? Her older sons born before the war have no health problems at all. Today her daughter is being checked for blood diseases and they are taking bone marrow. This child & mom have been through enough. Thank you for any help ahead of time. Plaese e-mail me, and I'll be watching the board. Thanks : )
