: I don't think anyone thing can be tied down to the gws. a friend of mine was probally the first to die from it. only then we didn't know it was from the war. he was a tank commander during the war and not 6 months after he had a brain tumor the size of a golf ball. he was a very healty man and could go all day. we were with L troop 3/2acr. The thing that sticks out in my mind is that he was the man on duty the night our alarms went off. it was so dark he could not mask himself right away he had to use his night vision device to alert everyone else. I truly fill this is what killed him. he gave his life for us. wish i could write more but got to go. black 19
