My husband was in the gulf war for 7 months and we noticed a few months after he got back that his memory just wasn't the way it used to be. I would complain about him not remembering things I would tell him, or forgetting something when he went to the store and we really didn't know what had caused this until we started listening to the news and others who had been there who now have the same symptoms, but a friend of ours told us about some stuff she thought we should try and within a few weeks, we could tell that his memory was getting back to the way it used to be. I tease him now and say he has "selective" hearing- it's no longer I don't remember, but it's "I didn't hear you" I am so thankful we have found a solution for this.
