Hi Davey,

I cant speak for everybody, but being a Yankee (and only about half of the U.S. states are 'Yankee states', BTW), I will say it's really not fair to lay that blame at our feet.

The overwhelming majority of soldiers I've known and served with were fully competent with a weapon.

...but, it was a war, and you'd be right in witholding your trust of the District of Columbia...The government there is not really even humane.

After all...I believe it was DC from which comes the oximoron, 'friendly fire'....or maybe it was the DoD...but it's all the same.

It disgusts me, too...that any organization could think so little of those who have faithfully put everything on the line, in order to serve its' own purposes.
